Low ground cover is chook "heaven". Even African Boxthorn is no problem for chooks and provides good protection from aerial predators like hawks.
Afternoon scratch in some vegetable cuttings. Chooks have no trouble with different "skin" colour: Black cross with Isabrown.
Chooks are very curious. They watch everything!
