Location
Situated in the peaceful outskirts of historic Gulgong NSW, SarJay Farm comprises over 20 acres of ancient deep soil river flats. Here SARJAY grows a specialist range of fine vegetables using sustainable, non-chemical growing systems.

Freshness and Quality
All SARJAY produce (excludes processed, dried or cured products) is picked FRESH immediately prior to markets. SARJAY does NOT use refrigeration or cool storage, unlike many larger commercial growers who use refrigeration to store and ripen produce. This places greater emphasis on farm management, efficiency and growing skill. The result is the best possible quality vegetables.

SARJAY does NOT use inorganic chemical sprays on produce. Manure crops are grown between crops and incorporated into growing beds to maintain and improve soil structure, fertility and microclimate.

Vegetables
Vegetables grown include Onions, Garlic, Beetroot, Chantennay and Mokum Carrots, Leeks, Rocket (Arugula style), Spinach, Purple Top Turnips, Tomatoes, Eggplant, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Capsicum, Sugar Snap Peas, Podding Peas and Broad Beans. Subject to seasonal timing, many vegetables are available FRESH (not stored, cured or preserved). Many are intentionally frozen in the ground over winter to produce a superb, sweet taste.
